Additional configuration choices

ChekScan Pro expands on the functionality of ChekScan Standard by providing additional configuration choices.

Index/export tab - provides the resources to make decisions concerning: indexing (whether to collect payor information; how to identify check batches); printing (maximum number to print); on-us options (whether to sort by specified bank numbers or not); export specifications; and FTP details. These options are not displayed in Standard:

• FTP out - allows system administrator to tell the system when and how to use FTP export of images
• On-us sort - allows the system administrator to identify on-us accounts, and to tell the scanner to sort out on-us checks into a separate hopper
• OCR choices - tells the system whether or not to use OCR to read payor information

Alert tab - allows the system administrator to identify accounts of concern. When a matching account number is scanned into the system, it is coded red in the database to notify the teller, who then follows organizational procedure in handling the situation. ChekAlert is available with Pro, not Standard.

Transaction codes tab - provides a means of identifying types of transactions (e.g., loan payment; coupon; IRA withdrawal)
