Scanner choice matters

You'll want to think about the kind of scanner you need. Does it need to handle different sized documents? Is speed of scanning an issue?

Xanthos is designed for scanners that provide free of charge TWAIN software to allow scanner control. Years ago TWAIN was slow and did not support fast scanners. Today, TWAIN scanners capable of 20 or 40 pages per minute are available. For general purposes, we recommend using CANON desktop scanners.
