CheckNique

CheckNique scanners are small (4"x7" ), capable (300dpi, color, 2-sided) and very suitable for remote capture and small system use as one-check-at-a-time scanners. We use CheckNique scanners with ChekDirect and with its own special application, Fantastique, which provides a system tray object for local and command-line scanning, for easy integration into other development environments.

Fantastique also places scanned images on the clipboard, so it's an easy we to scan a check and paste it into a document, and of course the image file on disk can easily be attached to an email.
