Remote deposit
Check 21 allows you to use images of checks for deposit, and thus creates the opportunity to handle your check deposits from your business, without needing a trip to the bank.
Remote capture -- also known as "merchant capture," and "remote deposit" -- provides outlying points of service with the ability to collect check images and MICR lines at the merchant site, validate those images and data, and forward them for further processing to a bank or central server from anywhere that there are internet TCP/IP services available. Remote deposit systems can be placed out in the community in a cost-efficient fashion for a small per-item change.
Remote deposit generates a savings in effort and improved cash flow for the business, and a favorable ROI for the bank itself. Remote deposit saves businesses time and effort to rush to make bank deposits, and helps the bank itself spread out the automation load in order to provide an overall faster throughput
for clearing and settlement when coupled with Check21 item processing.
We offer options in remote capture and remote deposit:
- ChekDirect - remote deposit capabilities, using a Digital Check or Canon scanner
- TEKScan - remote capture without remote deposit, using a Magtek scanner
Remote deposit activities interface with the bank. Merchants can also interface with the ACH system without leaving the store, using back office conversion.
