Combined images
ChekScan
Standard indexes only the front side of the check in the database.
However, when an image is requested, ChekScan checks first for
a backside image, and then to see if "Combine" is checked
on the Settings page. In either case, ChekScan makes up the image
for display. Then the combined image can be printed, faxed, or
e-mailed.
With ChekScan Enterprise, scanned images may
be combined into a single SQL field. This can be done at the time
the images are scanned, or later, using different methods. Combining
images "on the fly"slows the scanner but creates one
image to be stored instead of two. Combining images after the
fact, when the images are retrieved, involves merging two images.
