Check endorsement

If you are using a check scanner with an endorsement function, then you can order the system to print an endorsement on the back of the check. You can print one or two lines of endorsement text, and can also print an image as an endorsement. endorsements can be static -- the same text or text/image combination on each check -- or dynamic, including a date or sequence number as well as the rest of the endorsement.

Endorsements have been extended to allow two possible endorsement lines, in cases where the organization scans the check twice, or needs a simple way to have two choices of endorsement text and switch between them easily.

The decision about being able to endorse checks is made at time of purchase. Digital Check scanners cannot be retrofitted with an endorser.
