Image formats
All versions of ChekScan offer the option of storing images in a variety of formats.
Each format represents a trade-off between size and accessibility.
- TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) is the default
format. TIFF provides the smallest image size consistent with
a readable image.
- JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) is
used when a detailed image of the check is desired, but it requires
six times the storage space of TIFF.
