Batch proofing before deposit
ChekScan can
now be used to process MICR-coded transaction documents interspersed
with checks. ChekScan provides the ability to enter internal bank
transaction codes in a table (in config) so as to be able to proof
a teller's batch before forwarding the documents to the bank's
financial system. A teller can now scan a batch of documents
(after encoding, along with a batch header document), and develop
an audit balance to both identify each document, and prove that
the batch balances.
