Sort into bins
Some scanners
(not the TS-220) have the capability to put items scanned into
two different bins after the checks run through the scanner. Those
scanners with that feature can sort in one of three ways, by defective
MICR-code, by items that are MICR-coded vs. items that are not,
or by "on-us" checks.
All versions of ChekScan can identify
bad or missing MICR and sort accordingly. This is useful in separating
checks from non-MICR coded transaction documents, as well as identifying
checks requiring special handling.
ChekScan Pro provides the capability of identifying
and physically sorting "on-us" checks, those checks
bearing the ABA routing number of the bank of first deposit, and
thus, the bank doing the scanning.
