Xanthos categorizes your documents

At the time of scanning or importing, Xanthos prompts you to categorize images for ease of retrieval, using an electronic categorization system analogous to a typical paper-based office utilizing "cabinets," "drawers," "files," and "document types." In addition, it has three reference number fields that can be used irrespective of the Cabinet/Drawer/Folder system, if that is more useful.

You can classify documents before you image or import them, and you can reclassify them easily later if a change is needed.
